British Motorcycle Owners' Club
Isle of Man TT Display
This year the BMOC will be featuring a display of racing motorcycles from the past and present. We will be recreating the atmosphere of the greatest motorcycle road race in the world, the Isle of Man TT. In a series of graphic images we will be showing the racers, the bikes and the course as found at the TT in the 1960s. Many of the images to be shown are from private collections and have not previously been seen by the public. We will also feature some of the many Canadians riders who participated in the TT racing.
This will be complemented by another graphic display of local riders and machines competing at the now defunct Westwood Racing Circuit. Again many of these images are from private collections.
Come and relive the glory days of motorcycle racing, both at the TT and Westwood.
BMOC members will also be participating in the Vintage Riders Night demonstration ride on Thursday evening. Come and see a fine collection of British iron on the track. We also have a team participating in the Café Racers Cup on Friday and Saturday evening. This Cup was won last year by BMOC team member Alex “The Kid” Dumitru.
